A long-time favorite of instructors desiring a four-skills approach in a briefer book, ¿Qué tal? combines a broad variety of materials and activities, exceptionally clear grammar presentations and consistent organization. The popular four-part chapter structure helps students manage the material without being overwhelmed and makes lesson-planning easier for instructors.
Worst language textbook EVER, and I've read quite a few. It's extremely disorganized and sloppy. The info might be in there, but it's a nightmare to find. The layout is awful, the pictures are terrible, broken exercises, it's a mess. It's 400 pages long and I've seen languages books that are 100 pages long and have more info, and in a much better format. In fact, the little pamphlets that come with language tapes are more useful.
DON'T BUY A NEW COPY. This book is definitely not worth it if you need to buy this for a class. In fact, if your instructor requires this book, I recommend dropping the course while you can still get your refund.
