I would use this as a springboard for getting your own info if you're looking to actually understand this subject rather than just "pass". I used the key terms to look up and make my own flash cards w/ literary examples. What's wrong w/ this book? Spelling errors, poor definitions (esp. on their flash cards in the back), incorrect terms (ex. Pg. 32 A 3 line stanza is a "tercet" NOT a "triplet"), and other small errors that should've been caught in editing. I prefer the bigger blue & white colored CLEP Test study guides that I've used for other tests.

Got a 77 out of 80 studying the material in this book alone. You don't actually need to have read any of the short stories assigned in this book.
