4. I don't like the passage ”Jim had now run to the side of the ship and was going down.
He is a seaman but when an acciednt happened he escape firstly with the captain. The passanger trust Jim is a brave man. He doesn't do his responsibility. He is selfish.
5. Jim said I'm a brave man, but he escapes firstly then he faces an acciednt. Actually almost people think themselves. He went to frontier area to get trust from others. He gets trust and respect, so he is a great man. However, is it necessary to get trust from new people? It's important to redevelop trust from the people who was betrayed. I think he repeat his mistake.
