A short but interesting read about one of Canada's first female astronauts and her time aboard the International Space Station. Lovely photos and commentary.

Roberta writes about her time in space and includes a few hundred photos, some that she took, some that others took, some from earth. It is a very interesting and thought provoking book that explores how humans have and continue to change the environment. In some cases she includes photos from much earlier space exploration and then from hers and notes the differences. I can only imagine what the differences would be like if we compared hers with current space exploration photos. Beautiful photos, interesting discussions, and in some ways a sad look at how we are impacting our plant.

I have always been an admirer of Bondar and was quite intrigued by her book. It contains beautiful images and insights on her life experiences and how going to space has impacted her. I had hoped for more of her personal viewpoints and stories from space - she writes the book in a way to showcase a environmental agenda first. Nothing wrong with that, just was not the angle expected.

A beautifully written book about a love affair with earth and space. The experience was lessened by an audio recording with a very poor narrator.
