So it only talks about hot deserts but implies that is the only type of desert. The repetition between several pages in books in this series is kind of annoying now on our 3rd or 4th book in the series. Some good information about hot deserts though and animals that live there.

This would be perfect for a second grade library- doesn't hit the target I'd hoped for early childhood. Looking for a way for young children to understand habitats, yet this wordy book becomes a collection of pictures where the teacher has some improv... need to keep looking sadly.
