The Dreamtime, the Rainbow Snake and other tales bring you closer to Australia and its wonderful Aborigines history. It's impossible not to feel the will to dive in their cultures and know more about their views of the world, of their world, and themselves. It contains a list of words that is very useful for readers to better understand the texts.

You'll definitely see Australia with different eyes once you've read this book, and Ayers ROck and The Olgas will forever be Uluru and Kata Tjuta for

The stories were beautiful, but I didn't like how the hundreds of individual tribes of Australia were condensed under the term "aboriginal." It would have been stronger if the author had linked each story to a particular tribe or region. Also weird was the aboriginal to English dictionary at the back of the book- which was a jumble of words from different aboriginal languages. Still, the stories themselves were really lovely.
