The protagonist in this book is Bridget, an American girl who came to Paris with her parents. She gets lost in the city and receives help from Bebette and Barnaby. They travel to many places, even out side the city of Paris, which I thought was unnecessary. They meet new characters and help them by solving their problems. At the end, they get back to Paris and Bridget finds her parents in a museum. The story ended in a hapy ending.
First, I thought this book was too easy, there are pictures and the book was recomended to 6~8 graders. However, the vocabularies were harder than I thought. I was first shocked by how stupid I was, but even my English tutor did not know some vocabs so I was relieved. This book is perfect for people like me, students who are English second laguage. The book uses vocabularies that are not familar to me. The definition of vocabularies are listed at the end of the book, which can help me memorize the words. The vocabularies I learned will help me in the future.
