Firefighters call them "fully involved." And fully involved described Gina Lindsay's feelings for her ex-husband, Captain Grady Simpson of the Salt Lake City Fire Department.
She'd never stopped loving him, even though Grady's passion for firefighting--and Gina's fear of it--had driven them apart three years earlier. Now she'd conquered her fear and become as fascinated with firefighting as Grady was himself. She returned to Salt Lake a qualified professional. hoping for a second chance with her ex-husband.
Grady's love for her hadn't died out--Gina felt sure of that. Then why was he so reluctant to accept her presence at Station One?

This used to be one of my favorite Rebecca Winters novels, and I've read it many times, but after reading it again this week, I'm really bothered by Grady's need to control/dictate Gina's future. Of course, this tendency was addressed by the end of the story, but it was hard for me to get passed it this time.
Received this book from a friend. I'm not a big fan of Romance novels, but I make it a point to read everything that comes my way. Compared with other romances I've read, this one seemed a bit lacking. I just thought it was a little too farfetched throughout. Not bad, but just not my taste.
