I read this book as an introduction to design requirement back in college in 2015-16.
Its a great step by step teacher for the time period. However, the only issue is that Adobe Creative Cloud is constantly evolving, and sometimes these steps change requiring consistent updates to the book.
Adobe themselves offers books available through Peach Pit annually that can be downloaded or ordered as print copies, but still, its a consistent update issue that means no matter what version you get, it will become obsolete in short.
That said, it is an exceptional foundational guide for basics in the programs.
