This book could almost make me believe in a personal God. At least this God is intelligent, even funny at times, and wise. He is not mean or in demand of our worship and submission. I recommend this book to anyone alienated from faith, as I am, and seeking to take a second look at the spiritual side.

OMG!! As a practicing Catholic for nearly 50 years, it was such a GIFT to read about the GOD of my heart versus the vengeful, task master, condemning God of the religion I still love. Neale put an actual personality to my God that I've loved and serve and showed me through His words that our God IS LOVE and acceptant and unconditional. Some might disagree with me but let me say this. I wish I would have read this book in the 1969's so I wouldn't have struggled so hard to try and understand my re ...more

I bought this some time ago and, to be honest, only read the first book. After that I couldn't read any more. I give this volume a 2-star rating, and here's why:

My boyfriend and I watched the movie together. We saw it in Blockbuster and thought we'd give it a shot. Well, I liked the movie so much that I soon paid $26 for this volume so I could read the words for myself. I was excited... finally, to know what God himself is thinking! I got through the first book and got many headaches and heartac

Recommends it for: All believers, searching for a higher meaning
These books were part in turning my life around and speaks to my soul (read my review under Coversations with God #1),
Since reading 'Conversations with god' I've discovered several other books, speaking the same Truth, in different forms, but this book is like a first lover, one that will always have a special place in my heart.

These books speak of a God, or power, or whatever you wish to call it, that is not just wise, but also funny. One that doesnt judge or condemn, but one that is always nea

If you're a religious fundamentalists, then these truths may be outside your will to accept, but not outside your capacity to embrace. Don't be limited by beliefs you were once told in the past were the only truth then were neglected to be challenged without question. Think for yourself! These books make a lot of sense, but only if one drops their present belief system which automatically labels everything counter it as "wrong". If you're looking for truth, then challenge your beliefs. If you're ...more

I've read 7 of Neal Donald Walsch's books, and heard him speak 3 times when he's visited England. Of all the many spiritual books I've read these are the ones that resonate with me and make the most sense. Highly recommended

The best book I've ever read about God. You could debate that the author is crazy for claiming to have had this conversation but you won't find any suggestions that God is full of wrath, extremely judgmental, petty, needs you to kill in it's name nor does he/she/it hate anyone. Sounds awesome to me. I believe that, even an atheist could agree with or, at least, not hate some of the ideas presented in these "conversations" because there is no hate. You're not "wrong" or looked down upon for disag ...more

One Thing : Do not waste your time reading the reviews! Just pick up the book and read , read with an open mind, read as if you have never known anything and absorb, absorb every single detail. I read the series two times, its absolutely wonderful !

Reader Beware! Many organized religion attendees have found the ideas and concepts in this book to be blasphemous. Discussions of these concepts may cause arguments with friends and family.

The title says it all, Neale has recorded his communication with God for the purpose of sharing with us the important messages of our day. To believe or not to believe is the question you must answer while reading, the choice is yours. Freewill is our ability to choose and that is what life is about. New ways

My Aunt had nothing but praise for this book, and reccommended that my mom read it. As usually happens, my mom didn't have much time for reading, so she asked if I would read it for her and give her the essential bits.

I started to notice strange things right off the bat, little phrases and notions from the author that seemed anything but congruent with the Judeo/Christian God from the Bible. Never the less, I shrugged it off and continued through the book, but the further in I got, the bolder t
I cherish the whole conversations with God books, 1,2, and 3. I found the book comforting, enlightening, yet it resounded with me and felt right. I wish all of humanity could read this book, because it teaches us so much. Especially our many endless fears, and how they affect us. You can read this book over and over. Each time you will learn more and take it in literally.
Again, this is the best book, in my opinion, that I have ever read in my life. It literally helps to free you. It is very humo

An Awesome book that answered many questions in one's mind.
A beautiful read. Explores an uncommon dialogue as the book title suggests, where the writer writes an angry letter to God, and what follows is an extraordinary conversation between him and his inner source, expressing understandings of life's uncertainties and the big questions we might all at one point ponder.

Even though the title says "God," I wouldn't necessarily consider this a highly orthodoxy read; in the sense that it's targeted at one specific religious belief, but actually explores a v

This trilogy completely changed my perspective on every single aspect of my life. It is truly a masterpiece of spirituality that more people need to open. If everyone on this planet read this trilogy, the world would shift in such an unprecedented way that all of our problems would seemingly disappear over night. The key is not getting stuck with the question of whether or not you believe Walsch truly contacted God or not. That isn't the point of this book. For skeptics of this book, I challenge ...more

The Complete Conversations with God includes all three books of the original Conversations with God series in one very large volume. Book one introduces the main concepts that are discussed throughout all three books. This first book starts off with a frustrated Neale Donald Walsch questioning his life. Everything seems to be falling apart. Simply put, he questions God and God answers (and perhaps more importantly he actually listens). Thus, the book is a series of questions and answers about li ...more

In the beginning...
When I first purchased Book 1 - my life changed. I understood for the first time what a Shift was. I may be making it up, but I remember reading a comment in the first pages of the book from a reader which said something about falling in love with God again. Like the book reflected the God she felt and knew but couldn't "see." This is exactly how I felt. It's also what I had been pushing against, disgusted and frustrated with the world, dogma, hypocrisy. This was more than 10

I tend to stay clear of anything that references God from a Christian point of view. I'm not a fan of that religion, but I like to keep an open mind and well-rounded education of all religious and spiritual beliefs - it's one of my personal passions. My biases aside (I'm not perfect) the book was quite good from a non-Christian, spiritual perspective. It got a little hokey towards the end, which had the effect of making the best parts of the first book a bit less credible, unfortunately. Some of ...more

This book is a must read. Regardless of your religious affiliation, read this with an open mind and your soul will rejoice. If you are skeptical, suspend your disbelief and read it. These three volumes have had a profound impact on my life and have taught me the difference between spirituality and religion (and true spirituality wins every time).

Bought this series for my father-in-law for Christmas this year and I was really pleased when I got it! A nice box sleeve contains the books and each book is thick enough to be worth it. He seemed pleased when he received the gift.

I was impressed by the price and the size of the books. It was a great gift idea and I am super sad I did not buy a set for myself as well!

I read this book years ago, but I still remember being intrigued by the flow of conversation between God and the made me smile because it's the same style of ongoing inner dialogue that I experience with the Higher Power.

To be taken with a grain of salt. I'm not sure if the author is a divine clairvoyant or just a strung-out hippie ... or both. But some of the advice in the book is worth weighing for application in one's own life. Some discussions created turning points for my life. I've re-read it several times.

Amazingly simple and yet powerful and filled with truths which I somehow seemed to recognize. The book I've been searching for and never known existed. Now I can be a better version of me, the best ever.
