This is a fun little book that I recently read for the kids at my school. I love the call and repeat lines--the kids really enjoy saying them with me!

When my 10-year old neighbour began reading Boo Baby Girl out loud, his 7-year-old brother showed no interest in a story about a baby girl. That changed when the cheeky baby learned of a haunted house. Casual interest turned into engagement when the tough guys decided to steal from the ghost. Soon the 7-year-old was eagerly awaiting the chant. Both boys broke out laughing at the hilarious last page. The illustrations are full of detail and sly fun, and Jim's story is definitely a winner.

This was grabbed off the library shelf in a hurry with a young toddler in tow. What a strange little book, but boy did he love it! It really doesn't make a lot of sense, but somehow it entertained our 14 month old, and the end cracked us up. It's a good rhyme at the end, but a very weird story and characters - especially for a picture book, when there's not a lot of time to develop those details. The whole thing comes off as endearing after a while, but it definitely felt like some strange slip that it landed on the library shelf in the first place.

Great for parents, children and those still in touch with their youthful spirit.

Excellent story that my kids and entire family love. Highly recommend it if you have children that are just starting to read or love reading a short quick and cute story.
