This biography did not even mention John Hancock was a smuggler. It put a nice, neat little bow on John Hancock’s profession and said he was a merchant.

The only thing I really got from this biography is John Hancock’s signature. It wasn’t just huge, but beautiful. I learned about John Hancock from this biography, but I learned the wrong things.

If you want your child to have a quick overview of John Hancock or if you just need a quick refresher it’s pretty descent. Not detailed though so it would not be used for any reference for anything other than elementary school.
