A quick read on a famous aircraft in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain's "Hardest Day". While the Germans feared the Spitfire, the Hawker Hurricane downed more planes in the defense of Britain. And while the Spitfire was a beautiful fighter plane, the F4U Corsair, the "Whisting Death" was better looking and deadlier.
