This is a heavily editted adaptation of the original Pinnochio. It is quite strange and of course very different from the Disney version of Pinnochio.

The illustrations are quite nice--the best part of the book!

Loved it! Originally written in serial form for a children's magazine, this story is filled with adventure and poignant lessons to be learned for both young and old. I really enjoy reading the original, unabridged versions of these timeless children's classics.
