I bought this after finishing my first indoor climbing session, wanting to read up on the topic before spending any money on equipment. "All the gear and no idea" is no way to live - especially with a sport like this.

It's an excellent all-round beginner's guide to indoor climbing with surprisingly good coverage of the climbing world outside. The chapters are broken up into:

*Introduction. Outlines climbing styles, differences, and risks.
