POLITICS.ESCORTS.BLACKMAIL follows the life of Madam Money Watts and explores the call-girl industry as it spills over into the world of politics in New York City. Money's exclusive, top escort service operates under the name, Lip Service, and Midori Moody, Leilani Sutton and male escort Kemba Price are her high-end contractors who make a hefty living out of sex for money.
Among her clients are two New York senators who are the very officials voters have elected to make decisions for others to abide by, yet these politicians play by a different set of rules, secretly paying top dollar for the forbidden girlfriend experience. But when a freaky client takes it too far; a pimp wants in on some of the action; and an escort gets greedy, the world of Money Watts is brought to a head.
Money owns an exclusive escort service, located in New York, that caters to some of the most elite political figures in the United States. These men and women have some of the craziest fetishes, and are willing to pay top dollar for it.
When a hacker finds out whose on the list, he seeks revenge. Problem is...his digging may unveil secrets closer to home than he would like.
No one or nothing could've prepared me for this book, because we get the back story of the workers, which further let's us understand their choices. We also get the shock value of the realization that our politicians are more corrupt than we could ever imagine.
I highly recommend this well-written 💎💎💎💎💎read by author Pynk.
I have had the chance to read one of PYNK’s novels in the past and I really enjoyed it. So when I was asked to read her newest novel I was more than willing to oblige. I expected POLITICS. ESCORTS. BLACKMAIL. to be fairly similar in content to the last of her books that I read. To an extent it was. But what I really liked about this one is that along with the sex that comes with an erotic novel I felt a real connection to the characters. It was pretty refreshing. And even though there are a lot of “happy endings” in the book, the story as a whole doesn’t have a happy ending for everyone. The fact that these characters get a dose of reality really makes PYNK’s novels an even more enjoyable read.
I can’t say that I liked that characters, on a personal level. They all had some issues, and their motives weren’t always the best. But they were very well-developed characters and they each had a specific purpose in moving the story forward. Money, much like her name, was driven by money and it showed. While I didn’t agree with her, I understood why she was doing the things she did, and I respect her for being who she is regardless of what others thought of her. It was the same for all the characters. They didn’t necessarily make the same choices I would make, and I didn’t agree with what they were doing. But these characters didn’t apologize for what they were doing, because it might offend someone. I really loved that about this book. The fact that the characters despite not being the most reputable of people weren’t really hiding anything.
PYNK’s writing is awesome. She was my first exposure to erotic literature and she did a great job of breaking the stereotypes of what I thought erotic literature was. This book has a plot, it’s not just sex for the sake of sex, there is good character development, and the story is intriguing. Actually most of the ending of the book has nothing to do with sex, it’s just a good story with the sex thrown in for a different kind of reading experience. I have to say I really enjoyed reading this one and can’t wait to read another PYNK novel!
OMG! POLITICS.ESCORTS.BLACKMAIL. will leave you wanting more. This is a story that’s intriguing, sensual and suspenseful. Pynk is a great storyteller. She has a way of making the reader feel as if they’re part of the story, every bit by bit. Pynk took a topic that is very prevalent in the world today and brought new meaning to the word, escort. Pynk takes us on the ride of a lifetime with Madam Money Watts and her three highest paid escorts, Midori Moody, who happens to be her sister, Leilani Sutton and a male by the name of Kemba Price. If you throw in a lot of sex driven addicts who happen to be government officials, comedians, doctor’s and ball players each with significant others and no one knows about each other, you have a steamy story that you will not be able to put down. There are many shocking revelations revealed that you won’t even see coming. I like that about Pynk, she has many twists in the plot. So, who’s blackmailing who? Will they succeed? Will it all blow up in everyone’s face? Many lives will be affected. Money Watts made a statement that was so deep, I’m still thinking about it, she said, “Her soul felt sold.” POLITICS.ESCORTS.BLACKMAIL. isn’t a story just about sex. It is a story with a deep storyline and an even deeper ending. There were times when I laughed and cried. If you love reading erotica with a cup of suspense, I highly recommend POLITICS.ESCORTS.BLACKMAIL. This is definitely a five star read.
Hold on to your chair because you are in for an insatiable treat.
Politics.
Escorts.
Blackmail.
This has to be one of the best books I have read in 2012…
Pynk takes us deep in the world of Lip Service; an Escort service ran by Madam Money Watts. We are also introduced to three escorts by the name of Leilani, Kemba (male escort), and Money’s sister, Midori. Each of these characters is dealing with the drama in their own personal life & the lives of their “companions”. That’s when excitement begins…
“Funny how the very people who make the laws are sometimes the ones who patronize the offense.”
When I read that line I knew I was in for a treat. This novel packs in everything from page-turning plot twists, drama, lies, sex, politics, and blackmail. Pynk does an excellent job giving each of her characters depth which made this book very satisfying to my soul. I had my opinions about Escorts, but after reading this book it made me think otherwise. While reading this book I felt as though I was a fly on the wall – having the pleasure of getting the inside scoop. Yes! I admit I'm NBN (Nosey by Nature).
I’m warning you now – clear your calendar for the day – because once you start reading this book, you won’t put it down until you are on the last page.
Pynk delivers on all three words that make up her latest book title: Politics. Escorts. Blackmail. Pynk is at the top of the game when it comes to storytelling and making a reader feel as if they are actually a part of the story. By the name of the title, it is a given what the substance of the book is about, but this book is far from your typical one about people who escort. Pynk gives us a book from the escort point of view, how they feel about what they are doing, and what really happens behind the scenes.
The story centers on Madam Money Watts and three of her most popular escorts, a male by the name of Kemba Price, a female by the name of Leilani, and Money’s younger sister, Midori Moody. All three of them have turned to escorting for different reasons but each of their stories is absolutely intriguing. Pynk delivers on all angles: suspense, familial relationships, sex, a range of emotions, fetishes, passion, and once again, sex!
Politics. Escorts. Blackmail. by Pynk will make you think about escorts and their chosen lifestyle in a different light. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and make you tune out whatever is happening around you. But, you have been warned because when you mix together Politics. Escorts. Blackmail. with the flawless storytelling of Pynk, you are in for a steamy read!
POLITICS.ESCORTS.BLACKMAIL by Pynk is a very sexy story of an elite escort service , Lip Service operated by Madam Money Watts and her top workers are Midori Moody, Leilani Sutton and male escort Kemba Price who aim to please for a price and a very expensive one at that.
This story is a story within because the scandalous side of the escorts provides a sexy added plus but the suspense and drama that revolves some well respected politicians sprinkled with the typical drama that this lifestyle entertains will keep readers engrossed from beginning to end.
I could not put this book down because of the cleverly put together storyline with perfect plot execution had me eagerly anticipating what was going to ultimately happen to Money Watts.
Fans of sexy tales mixed with suspense and drama will without a doubt LOVE Pynk's latest literary effort, POLITICS.ESCORTS.BLACKMAIL. A definite 5 star read!
I enjoy Pynk's writing style for this book because she made my emotions feel haywire and also made me uncomfortable at some points in the book. I cried on what happened towards the end of the book...(and there was a lot that happened, so I won't tell you which was emotional because I would give it away) If you like a book that will take you out of your comfort zone, this is the book for you. You'll feel the emotions of each character in the book (the escorts and a few other characters that play a significant role as well). I definitely will be checking out the rest of Pynk's books. And can I also say that I loved the ending of the book on what men should do for women? =)Going to have my hubby read that very soon.
"Politics. Escorts. Blackmail." is the story of Money Watts who is a young escort business owner and her three employees: Midori, Leilani, and Kemba. Throughout the book the reader learns about all four characters including their pasts, how they got into the business, and their current lives. This book is labeled as erotica and is definitely pretty steamy but it also had an interesting and suspenseful storyline as well. Each chapter is labeled with a character's name and is told from that person's perspective which I really enjoyed. There were also many twists and turns that I did not expect and were definitely a surprise. Overall I think Pynk did a great job with this novel and I recommend this story if you enjoy this particular genre.
I received this book in a goodreads giveaway in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
As a Madam, Money Watts has seen a lot. Owning her own escort service, catering to the taste of some very high powered politicians, athletes and society notables comes with the ability to remain discreet. When lines are crossed and what's done in the dark starts to come to light, Money may just lose everything as she tries to hold it together.
First, let me say, if you have never read a book by Pynk, you are in for a treat. "Politics.Escorts.Blackmail.” feels researched and thought out. The story line flows and it contains enough action to keep the pages turning. The characters feel real and it is easy to become involved in the story and root for them to finally win. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good book to read but caution those who have an issue with strong sexual content.
First, let me say, I usually don't pick books that are in the category "erotica" because I don't want to tempt myself too much. I wanted to read this one though because the story seemed like it was going to be awesome...AND IT WAS! Before I ever got to the story, I was intrigued because the author took the time to give some background on "the business". It helped me think differently as I read it.
The story line is flawless! It is refreshingly different from anything I have ever read. This was one that I read in a a few hours. I simply could not put it down. I fell in love with a couple of characters and I was absolutely floored at the way the story played out. I did NOT see some things coming.
P.E.B. is an exciting read that will certainly leave you begging for more. Well played Pynk...Well played...I'll just say...I don't wanna mess with Money Watts....
I received this book in a Goodreads giveaway a while ago. I finally decided to pick it up because I was just in the mood for this kind of read. This book almost reminded me of Fifty Shades of Grey because there was literally sex on every other page. But the writing was wayy better. I'm giving this a 3 because I didn't love it but I didn't hate it. I felt like the book was mostly just the escorts and not exactly the politics and blackmail. Only one person did blackmail in the story. There was an underlying who is going to be president talk and a lot of the people they were escorting were of a political background but that was it. I did enjoy the story and had an ending that I wasn't expecting so that made me happy. Overall it was an okay read. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes the erotica genre.
I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads.
When I started reading this book I thought it would be more about politics with the undercurrents of sex to scheme and blackmail to get ahead. However the book was more about sex with the undercurrents of politics. Not really what I was looking for since I'm not into erotic novels.
The characters and the story-lines were interesting and sometimes comical, sometimes full of surprising twists and turns. Money was by far my favorite character. However the novel didn't really hold my interest since it's not the type of novel I usually read. The ending felt rushed and somewhat disappointing. I'm not sure I'd read more by author Pynk or even in this genre again.
Politics. Escorts. Blackmail. Three words that hold so much meaning. What would you do when caught up in the storm of these three words?
Money Watts is a madam who went hard for her team and herself. She was all about business and one could only respect her. She is making a living by the oldest profession in the book, pretty much the same way many others before her have done. Her circle is small, yet efficient. As we all know, things that are going well, has to come to an end.
The fallout Money faces is big but then think about it, why waste money on things you can't really prove. Money was smart but we all fall at some point.
I give four stars for a different kind of read. This was my first read by the author, but I am sure will not be my last.
My three word review: engaging, seductive, suspenseful
Pynk keeps readers eagerly turning the pages in her latest book: Politics. Escorts. Blackmail.
I was quickly drawn into the story and I love a good juicy story. Although it was fiction, it read as if you were reading into the "real" lives of people. The twists and turns in this book will have you on the edge. I could visualize each scene. Madam Money Watts takes lead with a host of interesting characters. This story had it all: sexy characters, blackmailing, intriguing story line, politics...Pynk takes readers on a roller coaster ride that they will not want to get off.
Pynk has done it again! This book was wonderful! It took the tale of politics and escorting to a new level. It was so realistic because we see scandals involving politicians so often now. The characters were described in detail and I felt like I knew them. I loved the way Pynk did not glamorize the escorting lifestyle and she kept it all the way real! There were a lot of twists and turns that sometimes left me with my mouth open in shock. My book club also had the chance to meet and chat with Pynk. She was so down to earth and being able to discuss the book and characters with her was an awesome experience. I highly recommend this book!
Ever wanted to see inside the lives of high-paid escorts or the sex industry at all? Are you curious why so many celebrities and politicians get mixed up in sex scandals? This book is a very in-your-face look at this world, and all sides of it. Yes, it's totally hot too! Plus there were things in it, even this sexually adventurous lady felt out of her comfort zone reading. It didn't take away from the exciting and interesting story that was unfolding, complete with a mystery of sorts. I just loved how it was all woven together. Very cool writing!
I'm pretty sure I would never have purchased this book on my own but was intrigued enough to enter the first-reads contest, in which I did win a copy. Tacking on to the 50 shades craze, the genre seems to be gaining momentum. I was not very impressed. While claiming to be written for women, it felt like the story was really designed for men. I won't be following up with another installment.
With the recent surge and acceptance of erotica novels, we have seen some terrible ones get attention I feel they did not deserve. Erotica without a good story, you might as well read Penthouse Forum. Pynk has written an erotica novel with a great story to go with the steamy sex scenes. If you enjoyed 50 shades, you will love Politics. Escorts. Blackmail. This is a Goodreads wi .
I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end. The story flowed well. The characters really came to life almost like I was watching a movie. Omg the sex scenes were awesome not too raunchy like I assume.
Lots of steamy sex and a pretty good plot until you're about 85 percent finished. It kinda felt rushed at the end. As a personal note--spoilers here--I would have preferred a "happy" ending (pun intended!)I really liked the political tie-in woven in the story; that elevated it above plain erotica.
I loved this book I really did I plan to read it again and again for those times when you need a good book The author was descriptive and clear making it an easy read too
I recently won this book and from the reviews it appears to be an incredible book. Those reviews are definitely making me interested in reading this book.
i really loved this book. i couldnt put this book down. wow pynk sure can write a book. i know my friends will want to read this. also awesome cover!!!!!
