Loving a Prodigal: A Survival Guide for Parents of Rebellious Children

Rate this book
This book is for parents of prodigals who are devastated by the trauma of having a prodigal. For every parent who goes through the spiritual and relational vertigo of such an event, questions are raised for which there are no answers or very few: What do you do? What don't you do? When? How? Where did I fail? How do you love such a person? What about grace, boundaries? Shame? Guilt? Norm Wright writes to comfort and assist the hurting parents as they go through one of life's most difficult circumstances.

If you have a child that is providing you with special challenges as they make what to you feel like poor choices this will help you keep the focus on what is the best for the both of you.

Written by a parent of a rebel child and Biblical scholar it provides good information and real experiences that will help you understand you are not alone on the journey.

I rated it 4 stars only because it is an older text and some of the information seems a bit dated.
