Read this series as a kid. If not for a man named Robert L. Ripley, I wouldn't have learned that if you place pennies in a dead person's eyes and then eat the pennies you can turn invisible. Yeah, I believed more often than not. There's a pretty decent Ripley's museum down on the Oregon coast.

Also, there was one that detailed how to become a werewolf: but it involved sacred oils, nudity, the height of a lunar cycle and a wolfskin.

You can't get away with just a greasy hamburger-and-fries, boxers, any old night and a moth-eaten bearskin rug.

I bought this every year as one of my bathroom books. As time went on they got more and more complex and often ridiculous. They were always a fun read.
