Despite the book being very short, there’s a lesson woven into the book that the author tries to express; the king wishes to reach the stars, so he commands to have all the boxes in the kingdom, his people bring him all their boxes and warn him that the tower is getting too tall, the king doesn’t care and eventually his greed and ignorance leads him to fall off the tower.

I like this book it shows being bossy doesn't also get you want you want great story to use to teach children this, plus it will make them laugh. It is a adapted version of a traditional tale from the Dominican Republic 'The King who wanted to touch the moon'. This is a good book for school as well as the story the book also contains; tips for reading the book together, words within the book, talking together about the book, and what can be done while reading the book. There is also a story retail at the end to allow this to be made into a retail activity to be completed similar to RWI.
