This book was selected as a part of the text set because of its accessible approach to the social justice theme. Students should realize that it is not enough to treat others respectfully for their own benefit, but that they can also serve as an example for other to follow. Setting this example can go onto help other people in ways that they may not have even considered.

The book illustrates good habits- helping people carrying luggage, reading a story to a sick friend etc. Children should treat other people with kindness. Simple principle is that children should treat others in the same way that they want to be treated themselves. They can do many little things to set a good example, such as offering to help others and protecting those who are smaller or weaker than they are. After every chapter an exercise has been mentioned for each class. The books feature child-friendly color illustrations on every page. An advice to parents is available at the end of each book. Coloured illustrations help the reader to relate to the story. I have read the Hindi language translation of this book.
