La obra de Arrabal plantea una revolucionaria y directo ataque de expresión libre y sin censura. Al terminar la obra nos cuestionamos, si la puesta en escena sufrió la misma ovación que la de “Casa de muñecas” de Ibsen, ardiendo, literalmente, entre la imposibilidad de concebir la serie de blasfemias, críticas, atrocidades, abominaciones de la humanidad personificada en dos actores que dan vida a la representación del “eterno retorno” de Nietzsche.

It's blasphemous, demented, nihilistic, absurd, outlandish, fun, and very funny. So yes, I liked it (although I'm beginning to question the lender's sanity. joking.)

At times, the play is a little difficult to endure. Both characters can be maddening, as they constantly shift roles, speaking in dreamlike, subconscious tongues. At moments you feel like you're taking part in a nightmare, until the absolute absurdity of it all snaps you out of it. I suppose the emperor represents absolute authority,

This play was insane. I really enjoyed it, but you won't like it if you aren't a fan of playwrights like Beckett.
