This was a very cute text and illustrated "Picture Puffins" picture book. Simple text for beginning readers. The little monster's Mom and Dad are doing everything they know to do to help little Monster to go to bed. But then Monster sees his favorite toy a stuffed spider on the floor and he decides that spider needs warm milk, story books, everything that Mom and Dad gave him. And then they both can go to sleep.
