You get the feeling from this guidebook that the author really did her research and actually goes to all of these places. There are a few things missing that Yelp, TripAdvisor, etc. helped me find, but I'm also guessing there are some things in this book that I wouldn't have found through those sources. I also liked that train travel is always included as an option when available, since that's going to be my main mode of transportation.

Excellent information in an easy to use format. Great maps, good restaurant recommendations.
