Educational blather about the White House. I'm happy that with this book I am done with this very boring and simplistic series.

For me, the most remarkable thing about this book is that when I read it to my four-year-old daughter two decades back she made me put a yellow sticky over the scary portrait of John Adams on page 11. It's still there and will remain there to protect future readers.

Great informational book about the White House for the younger readers. It gives fun facts such as when it was built, who lives there and why it is an American Symbol. The book would be great if students had to find information about the White House.
