I expect that this author is a distant cousin, and I hope that he remains well distanced. I read the inane composition that passed the publisher in place of a foreword, thinking all the while that this author ought not to have diverted this stationery from its intended use in the outhouse. I expect the body of the book to offer no better fare, and likely will not test the water.
