Blue Moon Over Texas (Lone Star Cowboys)
Author: Tori Scott

Jake is not the kind of man to show his feelings. His father taught him that showing feelings meant showing weakness. But the woman he has wanted since high school, Carol, is always asking what he is feeling and he is always answering wrong. He has asked her to stay in Morris Springs twice and twice she has left. Now she is back and barely speaking to him and he cant even figure out what he did to make her so upset with him.

When I read Blame it on Texas (Lone Star Cowboys), I didn't only fall in love with Logan and Megan, I fell in love with the whole family. And now that I'm reading Carol's story, my love quadruple in size. I always commend the author on her stories and the way she writes them. Her writing has a way of romantic, sweet and cute mixed together. She writes the way I would always want to feel, when and after with falling in love, depending on the

Jake he has some issues, "I'm fine. Go back to bed. You don't need to check on me every few hours. I don't have a concussion." He turned his head away, dismissing her." I mean these two may not have seen each other in a few years but there is still all that chemistry between Jake and Carol, "before he could react, Carol was there, catching him mid-fall and helping him to regain his balance. In the process, her leg brushed against his erection. For what seemed like hours but was only second, ...more

This is the first book I read by this author. The book is the 2nd in a series but it works well as a stand alone. I did not feel as if I was missing anything by not reading the books in order. I really enjoyed this book am will definitely read the first one and more by this author.

The author creates such a strong connection between her characters that the further one reads, the more it provokes the excitement!

The second Lone Star Cowboy novel is another wonderful romance featuring Carol and Jake. Although they have loved each other from the time they were kids, Carol and Jake each seem destined to disappoint the other. Jake grew up with a strong father who believed that the value of a woman was in the traditional roll of a wife, and Jake has trouble moving away from that shadow. When Carol leaves him twice, once to go to college and once to help out her brother, Jake views it as being twice rejected. ...more

This is the second book in the series Lone Star Cowboys and I am hooked on the series!!! This is Carol's story and the turmoils she went through with Jake. She had loved him since she was a teenager but left to go to college in Austin. She came back home when her father had a stroke and took up with Jake again believing that they had something to get. When she told him she was moving to Dallas to live with her brother and take care of her niece. Jake felt that she didn't love him because she ...more

This is the second book in (The Lone Star Cowboy) series and I have been ready for it since the last word of book one Blame it on Texas! I had already fallen a little in love with Jake in book one so knowing this was Carol & Jake's story I was anxious to see what was going to happen next and how everything would play out. Well ask and you shall receive. This story hits the ground running and keeps delivering right up til the very end. You'll fall so in love with Morris Springs, the ...more

Blue Moon Over Texas is the second book by Tori Scott that I have read, but is now one of my all-time favorite books. The two main characters, Carol and Jake are introduced in the first book of the series. You just know that these two lifelong neighbors have a story waiting to be told. Tori Scott does a wonderful job of that in this book. I thought that the first book, Blame It On Texas, would be hard to follow up, but no disappointment here! Its even better. Loved the character relationship ...more

Another great romance from Tori Scott. In book two you find Carol and Jake high-school sweethearts who went their separate ways when Carol left for college. Then when things are looking up for her and Jake she must move in with her brother to help him get custody of his daughter so Carols life gets put on hold. Will Jake give Carol another chance now that he's injured and needs help she's there for him but used to always being the one giving the help can Jake allow himself to accept the help ...more

Jake and Carol's Story: this is a wonderful book and I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Tori Scott reintroduces us to a lot of the characters from the first book of the series. Jake is unable to put into words how he feels about Carol and Carol needs to hear the words. While dealing with this, they deal with cattle rustlers, a broken foot and a stalker.

Book 2

This is the second book in the Lone Star Cowboys. It is a standalone, but has most of the characters from book one. This is Jake and Carol's story. It is full of good guys, bad guys, misunderstandings, and romance. A true 5 star read.
