(zQué puedo hacer cuando llueve?) includes simple verb phrases, such as “play with friends” and “jump in puddles,” to answer its question, making this an excellent book to introduce even very young children to basic sentence structure.

I read this board book because it is illustrated by Pamela Zagarenski and I LOVE her work. While this doesn't appeal to my senses as much as Sleep Like A Tiger does, there is still something different about her style. The colors seem to melt together in a warm glow. The fact that this book contains bilingual phrases emphasizes the universal commonalities we have.
