Organisational Behaviour and Analysis is a must-read professional book for anyone who takes organisational behaviour seriously. It gives a clear, integrated way of thinking about organisations, behaviour, structure and interpretation, and it stays useful beyond a single academic course.
I found it valuable because it connects theory with the kinds of patterns one actually meets in organisational work: decisions, roles, communication, power, routines and the way people make sense of what is happening around them. This is the kind of book I would keep close and return to, rather than read once and file away.
