I am a beginning oboist at age 72. I've been at it for two years now and still have miles to go, but the learning process of something new is why I started. Plus I love the sound of the oboe in an orchestra. This book is still helpful to me as I continue to journey in learning this instrument. It really is not a book that you finish finish....but I've been through it twice now and it's time to retire it from the list of reading to finished.....Cheers all...
