Covers Arizona by themes, mostly centered around the landscape and the people who live there: Deserts, Canyons, Prehistoric Arizonans, etc. Wonderfully written in a narrative (as opposed to list) style - Dad and I read it out loud to each other in the car. My favorite introduction to the area so far.

Found this book in a Sedona bookstore and I devoured it. I love guides like this that are slick, well-written and have great illustrations, graphs and maps to pore over. Arizona is still my favorite place on earth. Highly recommended for those who wish to familiarize themselves to the state.
