The story before this is portrayed through dreams and therapy from one of the survivors in parts. A bunch of people on a bus going to a motorbike tournament and stupidly take a short cut through the desert and encounter a freak of a man clad in fur and leather, hideously ugly, and sharp canine fangs who kills people who travel via there territory. Location of isolation and desperation equals the gory kills.
