Being somewhat, OK downright, pudgy, I tend to gravitate to protein and fruit as snacks. I love beef and game jerky, but I'd like the to consume something with lower salt and sugar content. A. D. Livingston's recipes not only offer a variety of time-honored recipies, I think they can be used as a basis for developing newer and healthier jerky recipes.
