I like puppies and dogs, and I like the excitement they give you, you could play with them, they're very soft, they even come and cuddle up with you when you're bad.
They give you a lot of excitement to play when you're not at school. It's fun when you watch them bark and run. It's exciting to see them play with other dogs and meet new dogs.

I love Puppies Are Like That! Both of my sons have also loved it. It is a simple, easy-to-follow book. My sons have loved pointing at the pictues and naming what they point at. I would definitely include this book in a library. This is one of my favorite picture books of all time simply because of its innocence and realistic sense of puppies!

The best part of this book is when the puppy barks at the cat, and the cat hisses back. It sends Waits into gales of laughter. He goes back and forth between those two pages repeatedly, pointing at the cat and giggling. A wonderful birthday gift from Stephanie & Jeff.

I absolutely loved this book as a young child. This and other easy to read books about animals gave me a lifelong love of reading and animals. Sweetly illustrated with all different kinds of adorable puppies. (And one angry cat:))

I love dogs and really like the pictures in this book, but found the repetition of 'because puppies are like that' with no further explanation not very satisfying.

An older book, "Puppies Are Like That" is a story that describes the actions of young puppies with the simple explanation of..puppies are like that.

This interesting story is one for young children. It addresses the characteristics that puppies tend to have with the explanation of puppies are like that. I find this to be interesting because when has "because" been a good answer to a child? Personally I think that this book needs more definite answers because the first question a child will ask after reading this book is "why?"

This book as a story that talks about the actions of young puppies and what they all do. Through the whole book it just states that is what puppies do, there is nothing wrong with it.

This book focuses on the young children. It is giving a defanition of why puppies do what they do. Some kids might relate that to answer the question why some kids do what they do, just because they will say. This book could use a little better wording and also some better thought out illistration to keep readers focused within the book
