A collection of short stories. Each is about a woman who has a secret(s), which are revealed. Some of the stories are cute/funny while others are very sad and touched my heart.

From romance to violence, secrets are lurking within all of us. We all have thoughts or memories that we try to hide or forget. Realizing this fact provoked me to think of my own secrets, and how they dominate my life to some extent. I think this book has convinced me that I want to explore my feelings and innermost though

The author does a great job at switching tones and voices whenever she starts a new story. I don't recommend this book for anyone who's experienced rape, incest, or being sexually abused as a child, though.
