Community engagement is tough work, made harder when we approach it from a deficit model. Seeds of Fire suggest a Hope based model that is fueled by a dynamic system to approach any issue. I've been through this training and read the book. This approach changed my life as well as the way my community approaches substance prevention and mental health for our students.
