This is a handy resource for those who might be curious about the origins, history and practices of New Religious Movements of the last few decades, as well as a neat answer to some of the anti-cult movements' objections. It's perhaps not quite as comprehensive or objective as the author intended though, leaning heavily towards a middle-class British and a Christian viewpoint.
