It was sooooooo fun reading about the interwebz and online romance before the interwebz was really a "thing". That's what makes science fiction so cool. People who don't read science fiction never realise that all the advantages they enjoy (and the horrors they endure) were predicted years and sometimes decades before by sci-fi writers. Sci-fi writers are true prophets.
