Just as the title indicates, this book is a handy guide to both aromatherapy and massage -- especially if you're new to either subject. Indeed, consider this an introductory book; I wouldn't recommend it to those already well-versed on aromatherapy and/or massage, but for beginner or intermediate instruction, this is a good choice. Massage techniques are conveniently separated by body areas, and the directions are clear and easy to follow. Also, there are plenty of photos throughout. Best of all, the book is large and thin enough that you can lay it flat and look off of it when you're trying to put some of these techniques into practice.
