A collection of articles debating issues related to the collapse of the former Soviet Union, the future of the region, and America's foreign policy there
Clearly outdated as this was published in 1994, but it does give great insight into what people thought following the break up of the Soviet Union. I like how one argument (chapter) was juxtaposed next to its counter argument. Over the book was organized well and it was kind of a hoot to read some of these very wrong (as in proved wrong over these past 23 years) opinions. I would recommend for perspective on that time period. :)
Library find- found it really interesting and made me dive into Cold War literature. Chapters feature opposing view points, some anonymous some professionals.
