Golf's Golden Rule: What Every Pro Does Instinctively . . . And You Don't

The ultimate golf manual from world-renowned coaches—discover the impact zone and transform your swing

The different elements of a good golf swing—the impact zone, backswing, and finish—are analyzed in this practical, in-depth guide. The impact zone, an area measuring a couple of feet before the ball and a couple after it, is what good golf is all about. As such, it should be studied, practiced, and trained more than anything else, yet it isn't. Hundreds of instruction manuals and DVDs fail to deal with it in any real sense, but impact should not be left as a blur. Impact is the precise moment that decides where the ball will go, at what trajectory, and at what speed. Here, two experienced coaches reveal the secrets that every golf pro knows instinctively, but that modern teaching has nearly forgotten about. The most up-to-date golf manual focusing on impact in detail as the key part to perfecting a good swing, this book will revolutionize your game.

5* review: I've bought dozens of books and videos to improve my game but after reading Steve Gould and DJ Wilkinson's Golf's Golden Rule I now know where I have been going wrong ... Gould and Wilkinson know what they are talking about and their book is packed with drills. --Brian Hitchen, Daily Express

Steve Gould and D.J. Wilkinson are the authors of the highly successful golf books The Golf Delusion and Golf's Golden Rule. They have more than seventy years' teaching experience between them. They both joined the famous Knightsbridge Golf School in the 1970s, studying under the legendary teacher Leslie King, a pioneer of golf swing instruction who founded the school in 1951. In 1989, Mr King handed the school over to them and during the past thirty-seven years they have polished his original teachings into a beautifully simple and effective swing model that can be learnt by anyone, regardless of age or ability.

Okay. Basic doctrine. But every good golfer learns his own personal set of compensatory movements. There is no best way.
