We read this for our Spring story time. I picked it for the illustrations which are bold and detailed. The kids enjoyed guessing what each animal was doing before I turned the page, which was great for story time.

Nice illustrations, but the book falls somewhat short.

Although not as useful as Winter Lullaby, this is a sweet seasonal book for preschool and K. Beautiful illustrations and simple text convey the activities of various creatures with the arrival of Spring. The last spread is a little confusing because the appearance of butterflies seems to be a late summer occurrence rather than a springtime one.
