While I finished reading this in a day, it is not meant to be. This book is meant to accompany those embarking on pilgrimage. It is a fabulous source of quotes and excerpts to be used as writing prompts before, during, and after a journey. There is space for notes to be recorded IN the book but I would recommend this book for use on a kindle or tablet. That way a pilgrim may have both book and journal in one spot without adding bulk to their pack/luggage. I intend to use this book on my own journey and when leading journeys in the future. Great resource for reflection and transformation!

This book has some really good writing prompts to help process travel - especially international travel. I highly recommend it to any future YAGM, missionaries, or people who spend a significant time learning about life abroad. I really enjoyed it
