This book clearly lays out the key features in planning, designing, and assessing library instruction. It's section on special populations is especially helpful in thinking about non-traditional students. Beyond instruction it also contain valuable sections on collaborating with faculty, working within the university, and the steps needed to maintain and develop ones professional instructional skills.
