Özellikle iç mimarlık ve mimarlık ölçeklerinde çalışan tasarımcılar için güzel bir rehber. Kitap üç ana bölümden oluşuyor: Tasarım elementlerinin ve prensiplerinin anlatıldığı birinci bölüm, renk teorisinin anlatıldığı ikinci bölüm ve son olarak altı adımdan oluşan tasarım sürecinin anlatıldığı üçüncü bölüm. Tasarım süreci bölümünü çok temel düzeyde buldum. Elbette bir lisans öğrencisi için çok güzel bir rehber ancak mesleki uygulamalarda bu süreç tanımının ve açıklamalarının yeterli olmayacağının bilgisi verilmeliydi.
Yine de iç mimarlık ve mimarlık öğrencilerine Tasarım Temelleri için okutulabilecek/tavsiye edilebilecek güzel bir kaynak kitap olduğunu düşünüyorum.
