Impossibly boring. No twists. The heroes have no flaws and are perfect paragons. The actual writing is okay but the only thing that would have saved this after the halfway point would have been if the Lord Adepts turned out to be the bad guys and Melissa was working for the villains all along, which would have actually been interesting. But no.

Good 3rd book in the series. Nice to see the writer shift story focus on some secondary characters for this book. Nice east fantasy/SiFi read. Recommended
