A surprisingly helpful guide to writing for job applications. The guide is made up of a short (~25 pages) section on letters followed by several (>100) samples . A shorter resume guide and set of samples follows. Although I am not an expert, I am occasionally a grammar nerd, and I learned a few tricks, clarified a few known techniques, and refreshed my thoughts on approaching selling myself to a future employer. I felt the typography and page design in the resume section was a little weaker than I would expect, especially if you have prior knowledge, but it would likely be sufficient for the average need. Love the detail that is put into it. It's super quick to read though because you can basically just skip to your section and look at cover letters that pertain to the field you are writing it for. Overall, this is a very well written book.
