"Janus artfully describes her surgical journey with her newborn son, Zachary, with grace dignity and a generosity of spirit. I pray no one endures what this young mother of three experienced. But if they do, this beautifully written book will help anyone keep-or find-the faith. And never give up." -Diane Falanga, author of P.S. I Hate It Here, Kids' Letters From Camp Found ...more

This book has been incredibly helpful while facing a similar procedure for my own child. Not only does Veronica tell a story of her own faith, she also displays amazing strength and constant reminders that, as parents, we must continue to be our child's advocate regardless of how close we are to falling apart under difficult circumstances.
