More of a 'coffetable' book, in that there are lots of photographs. But it is also a good reference book, in that it identifies all the players, equipment, and command structures on both sides of the Battle of the Bulge.

The book was decent, but not exactly what I was hoping for. It seemed more a study of photojournalism than a history of the Battle of the Bulge. Even so, I did learn some new things and enjoyed many of the photos. There was just not enough meat in there for me to sink my teeth into.
