Ce livre présente des exemples de couleurs et d'objets masculins et féminins afin que vous puissiez apprendre comment la couleur change - généralement en ajoutant un "e" à la fin d'un nom féminin. Mais, pourquoi pour les noirs ont-ils choisi "le chat" et "le parapluie ?" Les deux sont masculins. Pourquoi pas "une souris ?" Je suis confus.

This book is very simple with clear color illustrations. Perfect for absolute beginners with no prior French knowledge. Excellent for young children and even adults! Really good for home self study. Book is very short and extremely simple, will not cause confusion or frustration.

I liked this book because it provided sentences to go with the colors so you're learning more than just colors. Bonus: it had pronunciation tips at the end. A great way to start learning French.

This series is really well done. The layouts are simple and bold. The color is introduced in a two page spread with 2 different objects pictured in the color and labeled in the language of the volume. Below each photo is a simple sentence using the object and the color.
The same photos are used throughout the series so if readers read all of the books they would be able to strawberry in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Polish for example.
Overall, this is a great book/series to share with preschoolers, especially as a way of introducing a few vocabulary words in another language.
