The Big Bamboozle: 9/11 and the War on Terror

Rate this book
From the perspective of a Boeing 767 captain and former "special activities" contract pilot, Philip Marshall straps the reader into the cockpits of hijacked commercial airliners to tell the story of the most sophisticated terrorist attack in history. Based on a comprehensive ten-year study into the murders of his fellow pilots on 9/11, he explains how hijackers, novice pilots at the controls of massive guided missiles, were able to beat United States Air Force fighters to iconic targets with advanced maneuvering, daring speeds and a kamikaze finish. But, as Marshall explains, the tactical plan was so precise that it rules out car-bombers and shoe-bombers known as al Qaeda, KSM and Osama bin Laden. So then, who was it? That's what you are about learn. Backed by official NTSB, FAA and black box recordings, Marshall finds the most capable and most documented group of conspirators buried deep within a Congressional Inquiry's report and retraces their work in gripping detail. Fasten your seatbelt--- the sad truth is that all of the solid evidence points to a dark collaboration between members of the Bush Administration and a covert group of Saudi government officials. This is a game changer that will finally set the record straight on the most horrific crime in US history. This book is a compilation of official reports that disputes the Bush Administration, the Bush Intelligence Community and the American media's account of the 9/11 attack. United States Senator Bob Graham's Congressional Joint Inquiry in 2002 revealed that Saudi Arabian Intelligence agents met the 9/11 hijackers in the Los Angeles in January of 2000, harbored them and led them to 18 months of flight training in Florida and Arizona. Marshall follows reports from FBI field agents that warned George W. Bush's Administration that a "cadre of individuals of investigative interest were engaged in flight training" in the Arizona desert in the spring of 2001. Marshall identifies three top federal investigators who complained that Dick Cheney obstructed justice by refusing access to suspects who supposedly confessed to the greatest crime in U.S. history. None of the federal investigators were ever allowed to verify the confession of Khalid Sheik Mohammed who had been water boarded over 180 times at Guantanamo detention facility. The book disputes the video and media confession of Osama bin Laden and points out that none of the accusations by the Bush Administration could be proved. Marshall asserts that the Saudi government was the true executioners of the 9/11 attack and framed their enemies while CIA special operations set up an elaborate decoy named Osama bin Laden to divert attention away from the Saudi operation. He follows the hijackers to flight training airports and finds that Saudi agents led the hijackers to the Arizona desert where Boeing 757 and Boeing 767 airliners were parked at a secluded CIA operated airport. The operators of the CIA airport were traced to suspicious insider stock trades on two airlines, United Airlines and American Airlines, the only two airlines used in the 9/11 attack. Marshall breaks down the tactical flight plan that was used by the hijackers and chronicles the actions of Condoleezza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Saudi Arabian Prince Bandar bin Sultan, Dick Cheney and George W. Bsuh to learn that their account of the attack was severely flawed. Three top investigators wrote that Dick Cheney had obstructed the investigation and redacted the involvement of the Saudi government agents who were employed in California by the Saudi Civil Aviation authority. The Congressional Inquiry reported that the Saudi agents had "seemingly unlimited funding from Saudi Arabia" and had traced the hijacker financial support to Prince Bandar through a Riggs Bank account. Finally Marshall chronicles the media trial that allowed Bush and Cheney to derail American Justice by trying the 9/11 case with media propaganda and away from the American federal court system.

This book convinced me that the hijackers of 9/11 weren't working alone as per the official story. The author allegedly killed himself, his two beautiful teenage children and his dog just before his latest book was to come out. The idea of suicide was so preposterous to me that I figured he was "suicided" - in an effort to know why, I read his book - this one. Now I want to know more about 9/11…this is my next project to that end: http://themonicaperezshow.com/the-new...

Sadly, another whistle-blower,murdered by our government...read his book!
is an excellent expos`e about the BS Americans and the world was fed to cover the true facts of the Bush-Saudi created 9/11 event, and all the Malarkey fed to us afterwards about Bin Laden.

Funny,I got my first inkling of the deception when finishing a book totally unrelated in subject matter...Inside the Kingdom: My Life in Saudi Arabia by Carmen bin Laden who was married to one of Osama's 45 brothers. Which is a wonderfully sweet, but ultimately sad love story of her and her husband, and how because of the insane Muslim culture where the male relatives control all facets of your life should your husband die,she knew she would not be able to live with her BIL controlling her and her daughter's lives,so she left her husband and took her daughters out of Saudi Arabia, while she still had her Swiss passport. There is very little about Osama in the book, but at the end after 9/11 she tells how strange it is that several bin Laden family members were in America and while our own planes were grounded, the Saudis were allowed to fly out!

Now wouldn't you think if you had the family members of the man your believed responsible for such an act, that you would want to keep them here, at least for questioning? They were allowed to leave, because Osama had nothing to do with 9/11!

The government murdered this author and his family, just like they did other whistle-blowers who uncovered their dirt~Jim Kieth,William Cooper,Danny Casolaro, and The Washington Madam who was about to testify about her "clients" on the Hill!

This is an eye-opening book for those who haven't researched these claims before, and there is a lot of evidence, even for those who have.

What I did like about the book was its' play by play on how the planes were highjacked and maneuvered and what Bush and Cheney were doing, and moreover what they didn't do, and should have done to counter the attack. This written by a pilot who used to work for the CIA.

The author either committed suicide or was murdered along with his two children and the family dog.

After an informative, evokative first half of the book, you expect it to go somewhere. But it does not. The rest is filler. Personal anecdotes and biographies of neoconservatives in Bush-Cheney's inner circle who had something to hide, either by not responding to reports of the terrorist plot, or through a more direct involvement.

The author seems to imply that the Saudi's did 9/11 along with the US intelligence community, but doesn't mention Israel and the many links this horrible tragedy had to Israeli-Americans such as the owner of the WTC Larry Silverstein, and the fact that only 1 of the 4000 Israelis working at the towers perished on that day.

Time after time, we see the same names pop up when “deep state” coups and coverups are performed.

Philip Marshall does a solid job at naming names within the US Government and connecting them to the largest false flag event in recent history.

Marshall cites former Senator Bob Graham: the newly appointed [one week before 9/11] FBI director Robert Mueller has become a “facilitator of ineptitude for the bureau” and was “directly involved in the effort to hide the truth.” Mueller was also chief officer of the Justice Department’s white collar crime criminal division under Bush 41 when that very same department impeded the investigation of worldwide criminal slush fund bank BCCI.

Marshall acknowledges early on that 9/11 was the catalyst for Intelligence Agency control of America and the destruction of our freedoms as granted by God and acknowledged by the Founding Fathers.

My biggest issue with this book is how he quotes and dramatizes passages from the 9/11 Commission Report which he seems to trust implicitly despite his reservations about the commission itself. This leads to conclusions drawn from sketchy sources and weakens his argument. Marshall states on page 118: Betty Ong is an American hero. However, it is my personal belief that Betty Ong is a work of fiction. I believe Marshall, as a pilot, gets too caught up in the hijacking story and as a result ultimately loses credibility for falling for the sham narrative. He even admits on page 141 that UA175 performing a 20-degree left bank at the final second to perfectly hit WTC 1 was literally an unbelievable flying feat for anyone who has never flown a heavy wide-body jet. His solution is that the pilots received hands-on training by Arabic-speaking instructors with Arabic manuals in a secret desert base in New Mexico. I am open to that idea but a far more likely flying scenario is remote-cockpit-takeover resulting in a remote-controlled aircraft flight as described in Gaffney’s Black 9/11.

Marshall relies a bit heavily on mainstream sources like the Washington Post to make some of his points but he also pins much of the post-9/11 hysteria (anthrax scare, weapons of mass destruction, faked Osama tapes [Bin Laden died in December 2001]) on Fox News, and rightfully so.

The faith he put in Obama and Holder (scandals aplenty between the two of them) to hold the true 9/11 perpetrators responsible was wishful thinking and if he were alive today I think he’d see that the last thing Obama was allowed to do was disrupt the status quo. I understand that his areas of study (Iran-Contra and 9/11) involved two republican administrations which would lead one to put their faith in the opposing camp but these are two sides of the same coin working towards the same end goal - the destruction of America as we know it. To his credit, Marshall follows this up with the suspicion that the 9/11 Truth Movement is a controlled psy-op by the Special Activities division of the CIA. I agree wholeheartedly and respect him for acknowledging this little talked about idea.

This book is an improvement from Marshall’s previous installment, False Flag 9/11, which only touched upon many of the topics explored in more depth here. A few names mentioned in this book that deserve more scrutiny from 9/11 researchers include former congressman Porter Goss and private military contractor Blackwater’s Erik Prince and Cofer Black.

This is definitely a conspiracy theory book and it suggests something so awful and unacceptable that I don’t particularly agree with. However, I gave this 5 stars because of many things: 1). the writing (this read like a novel and not a snore fest) 2). the research and 3). the courage to put something out there in which you believe (I completely believe that the author is convinced of his theory). Do I think it could happen? Yes. Do I think the author made some very valid points, observations and claims? Yes. Do I choose to not believe? Yes. Go figure. But it was an interesting book that I thoroughly enjoyed. Thought-provoking. Surprising. Disturbing and down-right scary....

Be careful. You may wish you could un-read this. If you aren’t already a cynic or a revolutionary, if you’d like to preserve any shred of innocent patriotism in which you may yet find comfort… this like-it-or-not red pill may be one to put back and move along. The evidence he presents is copious, the logic he employs is incontrovertible and the conclusions he reaches as sickening as they are unavoidable. This was a man with the credentials, connections and experience to speak with credible authority on a subject far too incendiary and events too clandestine for anyone but the most brazen of whistleblowers. And it would seem that he, like many of the few whose conscience compels them to break their silence, paid more than the ultimate price to bring the truth to the rest of us… should we dare gaze upon its terror.

I dont know what to think of this book

I only read this book because I saw a video about Marshall's mysterious death. But I can't help but feel indifferent about his views on certain leaders. He puts so much faith in people like Eric Holder. Are you kidding? Did this book come out before or after the Fast and Furious incident? Anyways, I do recommend this book if youre into the confusing story of the worst day: 9/11.

If you aren't a conspiracy theorist, then this is definitely the book for you. It is full of dates and exact times and many many correlations that are fascinating to say the very least. He provides the what and why; however, if you want to just focus on the what and develop your own why that is also an option. Very factual in nature. Had to take a hard look in the mirror at my severe naivety.
What a sucker I am. Will be paying much closer attention going forward.

Good book, well written.
One of the best ways to ensure an event such as 9/11 never plays out again, is to understand the full scope of what played out, and why.

These type of false flag event narratives are so much easier to spot when you've taken the time to study the topic, in more detail.

Very good read. Especially interesting as the author had personal knowledge into the dark side of government. Considering the author’s own fate, perhaps he knew too much

This is REQUIRED READING for anyone who has woken up from The Matrix or have been questioning the truth of what REALLY happened on 9/11. The truth has been hidden in plain sight and it all has to do with the corrupt Bush Administration, Bush Intelligence Community, and Saudi government. They pulled a fast one on the American public. It was all a psy op. What happens in the dark always comes into the light. Truth will out.

Lots of details and well sustained information for you to make up your mind about what 9/11 really was, if you haven't yet. It tends to get heavy (and heavier as you advance) but of course if you really want to open the box on what happened in 9/11 you just keep on going. Not to say that this should be taken as an undeniable truth about 9/11 (nothing should be), but of course the more info you get about it, the better you are prepared to defy the general and media view about this catastrophic event and this book does that job well.
In the end, it made me feel that after a good beggining it started to go nowhere, that's why I rate it only 3 stars, but the informative value it's definitely there.

My the author's soul rest in peace. One can believe and one can ignore what the author tries to show through this book. But I feel my decision to read the book absolutely stand correct. An informative book that try to provide proofs and links that 9/11 was an inside job. I did feel Philip might be angry with the Bush government due to what happened to him, but when one reads through the book there are several facts that make you think and rethink.

Connects a lot of dots

There has been an intentional disinformation campaign surrounding the events of 9/11. If you consider the information to be data points it makes no sense. Marshall sorts out the good info from the bad. When he connects those dots you will know who did it and why. His call to action is the right thing to do.

Marshall is a former Eastern Airlines pilot who looks at the official 9/11 story from an airline pilots point of view. This book raises serious doubts that the loose association of wannabe pilots could have executed the aerial aerobics showing on 9/11, without a heavy program of extensive commercial airliner training in early 2001 within the United States, and the improbability that this could have taken place without state sponsorship.
